Schedule recurring work
Recurring work groups overdue events, the next 30 days, future work and results needing follow-up. Open Filter work to narrow the list by analyte, instrument or study.
Add a schedule
Section titled “Add a schedule”- Open Recurring work and choose Add schedule.
- Choose the saved study whose setup you want to repeat, then select Use study.
- Choose the applicable Scheduling rule, then select Use rule. A Laboratory schedule lets you choose your own frequency.
- Enter the next due date. Instrument comparability uses two planned dates in the same calendar year.
- Review any Applicable exceptions, then choose Save schedule.
The schedule shows its source and checklist edition. Applicable calibration/AMR and near-cutoff rules use at least six-monthly work and their listed event triggers. Instrument comparability counts performed events within each calendar year. A laboratory-selected frequency is the laboratory's plan.
Repeat a study
Section titled “Repeat a study”Open an event and choose Create next study. The new study copies the latest completed study's design and limits; if this schedule has no completed events, it copies the source study. Choose a current material and lot from the Library when needed. The new study has its own results and calculation.
Collect and enter the measurements using the study's collection plan. Save and calculate the study as usual.
Record performed work
Section titled “Record performed work”Return to the event and open Record performed work. Choose the calculated study and the date the measurements were performed, then select Record performed work. The date is separate from when the calculation was saved.
A Not met or Undecided result remains under Follow-up. Completing an event records that the work happened; its analytical result remains visible. Sign-off does not control completion.
Add a material or survey event
Section titled “Add a material or survey event”Open the schedule and expand Add an event or follow-up. Select the event, due date and applicable material or reagent lot.
For a shipment, enter its identifier or received date. A new shipment of the same reagent lot is a separate event. Proficiency review can start when new survey results or a monthly peer-QC summary arrives.
Change the plan
Section titled “Change the plan”Choose Edit schedule to change future dates or pause the schedule. Completed events and studies already started keep their dates. A completed interval-based study sets the next due date from its performed date. Calendar-year schedules reuse their two planned dates each year and show the number actually performed during that year.
